Tuscaloosa Amphitheater, Tuscaloosa, AL

A new outdoor multi-purpose venue located along the river walk in Tuscaloosa, AL. The project includes concessions, 5000-seat outdoor arena, a promenade. Lighting design includes all lighting and controls.

Gardendale City Hall – Gardendale, AL

New construction of a Gardendale City Center that houses municipal offices, council meeting spaces, chamber of commerce and event space. Electrical design included all power and auxiliary power, flexible office space data cabling, and audiovisual design for council chamber. Design won a 2015 ACEC award.

Cahaba Valley Shoal Creek Fire Station – Shelby County AL

New construction of an 8,000 square foot fire station with 3300 of apparatus bay space where the trucks and equipment are stored. Electrical design included lighting, all electrical for the building including nine dorm rooms, residential style kitchen, living room and office space. Entire building is backed-up by an emergency generator.

Birmingham Crossplex, Birmingham, AL

New 186,000 square foot building with Multi-Purpose Indoor Track and Field Facility and Natatorium. The indoor track is hydraulically-operated to raise the track height for different races. There is a 4,000 person seating capacity and VIP suites, locker rooms, training areas and extensive storage areas. The Natatorium has a fifty-meter Olympic-sized swimming pool with a moveable bulkhead. Seating around the pool is 1,000 person capacity. Electrical design elements included general lighting, sports lighting, power (normal and emergency), infrastructure for timing and scoring systems, sound systems, telecommunications, A/U systems, security, and fire alarm systems. LEED documentation submitted.

Blue Springs Elementary, Athens, AL

This was a new school totaling over 85,000 square feet. The school has more than 50 mainstream and exceptional classrooms, multiple computer labs, library, visual arts facilities, gymnasium, offices, and conference facilities. The design includes state of the art lighting control with daylight harvesting, horizontal cabling to support copper and fiber optic systems, wireless clock and bell system, integrated telephone and intercom system, theatrical sound and lighting system.

Jones Valley Elementary School

New K-8 school totaling 79,000 square feet. Project included kitchen, cafeteria, classrooms, science lab, art room, offices, gymnasium with stage, and choral room. Electrical design included energy code compliant lighting with associated controls, power systems, school intercom system, clock/bell system, security system, and voice/data infrastructure.

UAB Police Department – Birmingham, AL

New Police Department and Emergency Call Center with FEMA storm shelter and full building emergency generator. Design includes new lighting, power, emergency systems, fire alarm systems and auxiliary systems. The building is approximately 36,000 square feet.

Jefferson Co. Sheriff’s Office Renovation – Birmingham, AL

Renovation of existing Sheriff’s office building. Renovated area totaled 25,000 square feet with new lighting, power, emergency power, and fire alarm.

Jefferson Co. Sheriff Substation Hwy 280 – Birmingham, AL

New sheriff substation including offices and holding areas. The electrical design included power, lighting, emergency generator and security systems.

Homewood Fire Station – Homewood, AL

New construction of a 14,000 square foot fire station. Electrical design included power and lighting for the station as well as auxiliary lighting and emergency systems. Earned LEED Silver certification.

Montgomery County Courthouse – Montgomery, AL

Complete renovation of 92,000 square foot, four-story historical courthouse building for Sheriff’s offices, family/civil court, and exhibit space. Special consideration of design to maintain 1930’s period lighting styles using modern lamp sources.

Talladega Police Department – Talladega, AL

Renovation to the police department offices with all new lighting and power. We also did a renovation to City Hall that included new HVAC and new roof as a follow-on project.
