Renovation of lighting in food court, design for new restrooms on north end, upgrade of lighting in parking decks, new lighting in the mall concourse, mall offices, main mall elevator relocation, and new police substation.

This project is a 190,000 square feet, four story, mixed-use development in Tuscaloosa, AL. The project includes retail, 168 apartment units, two-story parking deck and a pool. Hyde Engineering did all of the lighting and power infrastructure design as well as designed the fire alarm and emergency systems as well. Special thanks to Scott Schoel, the architect, for this rendering.

Hyde performed lighting design for the second phase of this project located in Leeds, AL. This outdoor shopping plaza is home to 65 retail shops. The project was constructed with the environment in mind due to it’s proximity to the Cahaba River basin. It is one of the first developments in the state to have earned membership in Audubon International’s prestigious Gold Signature Sanctuary Program.

A new lifestyle and shopping center located in Ft. Collins, CO, with 17 buildings totaling one-million square feet. The lifestyle area included low height decorative poles in parking and hardscape. One building on site is LEED Gold certified. Design included power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.

Bridge Street Town Centre

Based in Huntsville, AL, Bridge Street was a mixed-use development featuring space for more than 70 upscale shops, restaurants and a 210 room hotel. Hyde designed the power center including Toys R’ Us and Bed Bath Beyond and is currently working on expanding the Lifestyle center to include a new parking deck.
