Hyde Engineering Wins Two Awards At 2016 Alabama ACEC Awards
Hyde Engineering is pleased to announce that we have once again been recognized with an Award of Merit for its work on the new Gardendale City Hall and an Award of Excellence for its work on the Mountain Brook Community Church from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Alabama (ACEC).
“As an electrical engineer its great to be recognized for the work that you do. But, these two projects were unique in that they also had a profound impact on the community that surrounded them. We enjoyed being a part of that,” said Liz Hyde, President of Hyde Engineering. “We are also very appreciative of the opportunity to work with the architects on each of the projects Jay Pigford, AIA, Partner at Architecture Works (Gardendale City Hall), and Lauren Barrett, Studio Manager at Barrett Architecture Studio (Mtn. Brook Community Church).”
The American Council of Engineering Companies of Alabama (ACEC/Alabama) annual Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA) competition recognizes engineering firms for projects that demonstrate a high degree of innovation, achievement, value and engineering innovation.
